This wasn’t an easy inspiration for Supreme to get right… Because this precise font has alluded many a Hip Hop historian, B-Boys and designers for years… It was custom/hand-made felt lettering, cut out by hand, then ironed on by one guy who had a stall in a mall in Brooklyn. This is where all the crews (and even Biz Markie) went to get their shirts personalised. So it was only his interpretation of old english that adorned the shirts of the crews in NY.
